Hardware 100 Top: World's Largest Hardware Company - Edition 2010

List of largest companies in the hardware world changed slightly compared to last year.Samsung became the largest hardware companies in the world, encouraging HP tosecond place in the list. The recession hit hard several hardware companies; Motorolaand Hitachi have lost almost 40% of their hardware revenue. The combined revenue of more than 100 fell almost 8% to U.S. $ 1,067 billion. Despite the adverse economic, some companies such as Samsung, Apple and RIM successfully developed andstrengened their competitive position.

Samsung hardware revenue grew 4%, while HP fell 14% compared to last year. As a result, Samsung took over first place on the list. LG Electronics also has a very strongresult (hardware revenues 26%), moving up four places to position 4.

Apple is very good; the company jump from position 20 years ago to the Big 10because of strong sales of the iPhone.

Country

United States lead the hardware industry, 40 of the 100 leading companies based in the United States. All other countries with significant hardware industry is in Asia.

The three South Korean companies in the top 100 are very well done this year. This country has a tradition of very large conglomerates, chaebols, the Samsung (1) and LG(4) has a prominent place in the top 100. Memory chip maker Hynix, formerly known asHyundai electronics, is one of the fastest growing companies in the list. Together, theyare evidence of the condition of South Korea's economic interest to manufacturers ofcomputer hardware.

The speed of growth

Less than one third of the companies that have an income higher than last year.Historically, smaller companies grow faster than large companies, at leastpercentage-wise. But this year, many of the fastest-growing companies are from half of the peak Hardware 100.
Apple stands out with the financial results of the star. RIM also showed continued growth in revenue (33%) with smartphone sales, after almost doubling last year's revenue.

FAST GROWING COMPANIES

Apple 69%
Compal Electronics 53%
ZTE 36%
RIM 33%
Brocade 31%
Hynix 26%
Wistron 26%
LG Electronics 26%
Elpida Memory 22%
Huawei 19%

View

Based on our analysis of the hardware industry, we expect the following developmentsfor the coming years:

* The number of hardware companies in Asia Top Hardware 100 will rise further, especially the number of companies from China and South Korea.
* Apple will continue the success and move into some more positions on the list, driven by the introduction IPAD
* Samsung, RIM, Huawei Brocade and tend to raise more revenue, given the strong market position and positive momentum in recent years
* As the economy recovers, most hardware companies will return to revenue growth
* Average revenue growth will rise from -8% to +5% (estimate)

Overall, we expect the computer and communications hardware industry will continue togrow faster than the world economy, on multiple levels. Investors beware: recession willhit on a double impact as well, as we saw last year.

RAM Types

There are several types of RAM (Random Access Memory), ie, FPM RAM, EDO RAM,SDRAM, DDR and Rambus RAM. If perhaps you do not understand the type of RAM,then maybe you can read this article.
FPM RAM (Fast Page Mode DRAM)
Fast Page Mode DRAM DRAM is the most old model. Problems often arise from FPMDRAM is a slow transfer speed that is 50MHz maximum.
EDO RAM
EDO RAM can provide system performance 50% faster than DRAM. EDO RAM is the same as FPM DRAM, with some cache built into the chip. Like FPM DRAM, EDO RAMhas a maximum speed of 50MHz EDO RAM L2 Cache uga should need to makeeverything run faster, but if the user does not have it, then EDO RAM will run muchslower.
SDRAM (Synchronous DRAM)
Almost all systems use voltage 3.3 volt, 168-pin DIMM SDRAM this. SDRAM is not anextension of a long series of EDO RAM, but it is a new type of DRAM. SDRAM startedwalking with a transfer speed of 66MHz, while page mode DRAM and EDO longer willrun at a maximum of 50MHz. Current SDRAM running at 133MHz can (PC133), andshot up to 180MHz or higher. To speed up performance of processors, the newgeneration RAM such as DDR and RDRAM are usually able to support better performance.
DDR (Double Data Rate SDRAM)
DDR has basically doubled the transfer speed than SDRAM. DDR will operate at333MHz, with the actual operation of 166MHz * 2 (aka PC333 / PC2700) or 133MHz * 2(PC266 / PC2100). DDR RAM is also compatible with SDRAM physically, but uses thesame parallel bus, making it easier implemnetasi than RDRAM, which is a differenttechnology.
Rambus RAM (RDRAM)
Besides the price is quite expensive, Intel gives RDRAM for consumers, and is the right choice for Intel Pentium 4 memory. RDRAM is a serial memory technology that comeswith three options, ie, PC600, PC700, and PC800. PC800 RDRAM is designed withdouble the maximum transfer speed than PC100 SDRAM, but have high latency.RDRAM has a multi-channel, such as the Pentium 4 motherboards, which can offer the best memory function, especially when paired with PC1066 RDRAM memory. Where there is the Flash Drive, there is a Virus

http://www.picturesof.net/_images_300/Computer_Virus_Cartoon_Clip_Art_091110-053144-773042.jpg Maybe for some people or maybe including you, plug the flash of other people or even our own to our computers is a scary thing, (why?) The answer is there is only one word, "Virus".

Then why does flash always been associated with a virus?
If the ancients "mengibratkan there is no sugar ant", then the modern man (if takmau spelled out Djaman) said "no flash there is a virus", was actually not a flash but the virus is formed UFD (let cool nybutnys aka USB Flash Drive UFD aja) only as an intermediary, if (ceile) virus is influenza virus, the UFD is the air [understand].

So, why the virus is transmitted through the UFD thok?
Becauze,, UFD is a portable storage medium (which is easy to carry everywhere kwmana) which can be written (filled with files), read (by computer), and deleted (content) easily, in contrast to CD which can only be written to CD -RW Drive and use the burning software and can not be removed ataudiubah contents. Actually there are many perangkatpenyimpanan which can be written and erased with ease, example: HDD (Hard Disk Drive or Java people call it with the hard drive), SSD (Solid State Drive), UFD, MMC et al (MMC, RS MMC, Micro SD, Mini SD , LSP.), as well as Memory Stick et al (M2 duo, M2 pro duo, Micro M2, LSP.)

Continue why must UFD which is always linked to the virus?
As has been offended (uh, alluded to the point, he) above, the UFD is that unlicensed portable devices that do not butukh tampahan devices to support the UFD, compare with [1] The HDD is somewhat troublesome when maumemasang or removed (there meskitelah a portable HDD, tetapibelum many who use it), [2] The SSD is still relatively expensive, [3] that in fact MMC/M2 (opo. .. iku?) requires card reader to be disconnected and be recognized by our computer.

What is the impact of the emergence of rumors circulating in the community that "no flash no virus"?
It is clear many schools to ban students Pemalang siswinya to plug the UFD-them to the school's computers, the second one too many companies, printing shops in UFD masukknya Pemalang which forbids employees or even their own client.

Actually, from which the virus come from?
The Mister V is likely to come from the genius, creative genius test n fads, kekreatipan n keisengannya these into a tablet called "Virus".

Fact!
1. More virus spread via the Internet (the letter "I" on the Internet is larger) than the UFD.
2. [Formula] UFD = USBFD = Universal Serial Bus Flash Drive = Tough Drive Pen Drive = = FD = flash [mumet ra, panjenengan?]
3. The author apologizes if there are several or even all the sentences of the article above menyungging eh ... offend you, sorry wezt inner birth.
